I've been saying it all year, but I envy your season! We're doing OK up here but it's definitely an uneasy feeling. Hopefully we can beat up on Detroit this week and things will work themselves out. But that injury to Adam Thielen in particular has been rough, and several key defensive players have been banged up even when they've been playing. (Then again, this time of year that's a given for everyone.)
This has been the most fun Ravens season probably since 2012. If this season has the same ending, all the better.

The Giants' rookie QB, Daniel Jones, might not play Monday night which means Eli's coming. If the Eagles can't beat an Eli Manning-led Giant's team... Huh, thanks for the heads up, my interest is piqued! I might just watch...

Hoping that the cure to the Vikings' mixed results lately will be hosting Detroit. I, for one, could really go for a nice drubbing, maybe 42-3 or something!

The crew assigned to this game is apparently the NFL league leaders in calling penalties, with 20 a game. There are already 9 penalties in this one with a few minutes to go in the half, plus a couple more that were declined. It's agony. Nobody watches football to see refs call penalties every other stinking play! (OK, actually every five plays, officially, so far. But still...)

The Ravens find themselves in a rare spot, needing to win one of the next two to clinch home field advantage in the AFC playoffs.

Two quick statistics....
This is the 6th time that Josh Gordon has been suspended.
Eli Manning's regular season record is 117-117.

The NFL's 100th season concluded last night, and the playoffs are set. The best way to chase away the post Christmas / early winter malaise is the NFL Playoffs.

Hard to believe that New England lost - at home - to the Miami Dolphins, lost out on a bye, and now have to play Saturday. As soon as I type this, he/they will probably run the table, but I'm wondering if this is the end of the Tom Brady era?
Looks like Ron Rivera is going to be the next coach of the Redskins.

New England doesn't have the weapons they've had in the past, lacking at both WR and TE. Their defense is still pretty sound though, and until they're out, I'm not counting them as such. But, at the end of the day, Brady is 42, and Father Time is undefeated.
Cleveland will also be looking for a new HC. I heard a rumor they're eyeing Josh McDaniels, which could be a very Cleveland Browns thing to do.

I think the Ravens' OC Greg Roman would be a great fit in Cleveland. Which is why I hope they go with someone else.

Stefanski would be a serious risk. He has been a bright young coach here for years now, but he's still only in his mid 30s, and was only elevated to a coordinator job last season, during the season. Seems to be very bright, though. You've got to assume somebody will snag him at some point.
The Vikings made yesterday into a late-season preseason game, resting basically everyone. They decided a healthy team in the playoffs was more important than another win. I get it, but I sure would have been angry had I bought a ticket to that game.
