"Not Found "The requested URL was not found on the server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again." Do you mean with Sheriff John Stone's video? It shows up and plays fine on this end.

Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp perform "Time". Damn, Johnny...I didn't know he had it in him. Dennis would be proud. Great song, too.

Wow, I didn't see that coming! Not bad, either. Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp are pretty darn big names, so this is really cool for POB and Dennis. "Time"...great choice.

I came across this fan creation of a would-be Life Suite today, and was wondering about one song (er, snippet): "I'd Go Anywhere." It is reflected here in brief form, 45 seconds of backing track and some wordless background vocals.
Can anyone say a bit more about this song's origin?

I'm not familiar with it ("I'd Go Anywhere") but that's pretty good work by that fan. Gives me an idea!

Not only is this a good cover, but the sound quality is surprisingly good for an audience clip. Apparently, Depp and Beck will be releasing an album next month. I wonder if a cover of Time will be included.

The last time I looked into it, it seemed like nobody knew anything about it other than the clip that exists in the video. I remember some speculation that it was finished, but nothing more. Kinda hard to believe nothing has surfaced from those sessions (that I'm aware of, and certainly let me know if something has).

I wonder what sessions it dates from. The obvious answer would be TWGMTR, but since we know a good deal of that material dates from earlier sessions with Joe Thomas (and of course Mike Love's solo song from those earlier sessions), it could also be older than the reunion album, or be a hybrid of the two.

This is for my e-pal, pen pal and close friend of ten years' standing, who died two years ago today. A major Al fan, she initiated me into the music of U2, her other favourite band, regrettably now rather hard to listen to.
Her already poor health had been steadily worsening during her last years. At least now she's in a place where there's no pain.

I stumbled upon this BW performance this morning. It kicks ass. Man, I wish I could've seen him around this time.

Here is a pretty new radio broadcast celebrating Brian and the Boys in advance of his birthday. "Raised on Radio" has interviews with various musicians, each choosing a song to be played.

A bunch of unreleased tracks were uploaded today. Probably won't stay up long. Pretty sure I've heard most of these, but a nice teaser for the Brian's Back copyright set.

Thank you for posting those tracks. They show - to me anyway - that Brian could still produce, and that 15 Big Ones could've easily been improved with a couple of those songs. Also, that's the first time I ever heard vocals/lyrics to "We Gotta Groove". Cool!
