Looks like I'm the only one who went for a pair of Brian's early '70s unfinished (or instrumental) tunes, "Rooftop Harry" and "Body Talk (Grease Job)." It's a little ironic, since I usually don't choose either instrumentals or unfinished songs!
These two just stand out to me as very unique in some ways, even as they have very Brian-like aspects as well. "Body Talk" in particular has a funkier, jazzy feeling throughout, not to mention some more agile piano parts than a person usually gets from Brian Wilson. "Rooftop Harry," is much more typical Wilson, alternating between two chords for what seem to be the verses in a very familiar way. But its dissonant organ stabs are the fresh component.

As you can see, not much of a consensus outside the top 5, with a major logjam at 3 votes each resulting in 14 "top 10" tracks. Personally, I'm surprised "Carry Me Home" didn't fare better.

Personally, I'm surprised "Carry Me Home" didn't fare better. I've never understood what people like about that one, myself. I get that it had a different perspective than a lot of Beach Boys songs (as did a number in this era, which was both relatively democratic and, if not aimless, at least uncertain and exploratory as opposed to focused). But to my ears, it's just not anything to write home about.
