A new interview with Brian Wilson:
The Desert Sun: What made you decide to go on tour with The Zombies?
Brian Wilson: It wasn't my decision, but I like them and their song "She's Not There."
Oh that Brian. There he goes again. Of course he didn't really mean "It wasn't my decision..." because we know that Brian makes all of his own decisions about his career.

Pretty good setlist, I must admit. Should have guessed Diamond Head and Passing By would make the cut: Brian is off the hook vocally! Be Here in the Morning is a favorite of mine, so I love it. It'll be fun seeing some videos pop up on YouTube of some of these. (Well, it might be.)

Thanks for posting the setlist, B.E.
Yeah, if I guess/assume Brian sang certain songs and do the math correctly, it appears that Brian sang about 1/3 of the songs. Probably a smart move based on his recent vocal performances.

I'll pay for that set.

I would, too...if the show came here. There are a few snippets online, and Brian sounds better than his recent lowlights. Not near his best live vocals of, say, 04-13 either. But better than his recent insults to the songs.

Yeah, his vocals are pretty decent here:

I always love a Darian lead.

Here's a new interview with Brian. He says that he's giving up touring "in about a year". That means nothing coming from him.

I'm pretty sure he said something similar towards the end of 2015.

To me, the comment means as much as saying there’s a rock and roll album coming next, or writers block.

And, another new interview with Brian and Al:
The interviewer brings up/asks how the songs from Friends and Surf's Up were chosen for this tour. Al says, "We have some very innovative arrangers in the band that choose the material. Brian and I are more or less observers, in a way."
Observers? Just another example of decisions about his solo career/touring that Brian is NOT making.

Did anyone REALLY think Brian was doing the setlists? (Or even arrangements?) this cannot possibly be news to anyone.
This was interesting:
Asked if he thinks we'll ever see another proper Beach Boys tour, Jardine says, "Yeah, I think it is possible. As long as we keep our health intact. There's no reason why not. Some stuff is on the horizon. I really can't speak about it. But there are there are things that could change so that we could all be a unit. I think that would be very healthy. And very illuminating, you know. It’s always good to have the nucleus together.
