Hello friends! Greg and I are honored to welcome Wendy Wilson to the show this Tuesday at 8 EST. We can’t wait to speak with her about her music career and her life with Brian and The Beach Boys. I hope you will join us on Tuesday at 8 EST on Facebook or YouTube!

Cool, another great guest. I look forward to the interview.
Carnie, Wendy ... perhaps Melinda could be an eventual guest? (Jacqueline Love appeared, after all...) That would be another great guest. But back to the point, looking forward to hearing from Wendy, including her memories of childhood, her time in Wilson Phillips, and her time in various related groups like Al's bands.

Please ask Wendy if her sons are showing any musical inclinations.

I caught the show last night. Wendy was/is an excellent interviewee. She was open and receptive. I thought it was interesting when she said she is "still working through" things/issues that occurred in her younger life. She now seems very happy and in a good place with her husband and four children.
Two things of interest...Wendy had positive memories of the short-lived California Saga group that briefly performed during the 2012 reunion tour. I was hoping for a follow-up question as to why that group didn't continue or if there are any plans to revive it. There was a question about how Brian is doing these days and Wendy said, "I haven't talked to him recently but I hear he's doing well..." and, "I just want him to be happy and, you know, that's all I know right now...I hear he's good."

I haven't caught the show yet, and probably won't be able to watch until next week. But based on Sheriff John Stone's comments, I have to say: doesn't that mean both Carnie and Wendy have now said they rarely see their dad? That's a shame, since that's how they spent the late '80s and early '90s when he was under Landy. I'm not saying or even suggesting that Melinda is another Landy, or that she's necessarily the reason the girls (it feels silly saying "the girls" about two grown women, but I mean "Brian's girls" informally. No offense!) don't see him. There could be any number of reasons that could be hugely mundane (such as where they live and busy family lives and schedules). But one would think that, after being forced apart for years earlier in life, they would try to spend whatever time they could together (within reason) once they were allowed to--especially as he gets into his latter years. Basically I just hope that everyone involved is at least able to have the family lives they want.
