With the recent (and current) success of the Feel Flows and Sail on Sailor boxes, do you think there's a chance they will work backwards and do a Friends/20/20 box? I know there was a digital dump, but I would like to have an actual cd or vinyl release.

While it is only fair to preface this with the fact that I don't know, my guess would be there is a very, very, very slim chance or less. The real reason for all of these is to protect copyrights: if the group and its management thought they would be profitable, they'd have presumably released them within those first 50 years.
The physical releases, I think, all had some kind of angle to promote. I think that is missing from Friends and 20/20. ("Hear the albums Bruce and Dennis called the worst of the band's career! Just $179.95 for this new set, which comes with a special disc containing Mike Love's hour-long recap of his trip to Rishikesh--with the Beatles!") No cache of great unreleased songs, no new, revelatory remixes, no new band members. Those releases, as I recall, were mostly just track-only, vocal-only, early mixes/sessions, with a few unremarkable unreleased songs.
It would be cool for completists, but I don't see that as motivating the group to spend the money on big box sets. At most, maybe someday a cheapo print run of CDs without any nice packaging. But I'm guessing we've gotten all we're getting on those fronts.

I'm assuming that somebody at Brother, or on the BB team, has run some sort of data when they determined which archival releases got physical vs digital only releases. Perhaps if the streaming numbers for the 68 and 69 releases were high enough, they might've backtracked and released some physical units, but that seems unlikely at this point.

Perhaps if the streaming numbers for the 68 and 69 releases were high enough, they might've backtracked and released some physical units, but that seems unlikely at this point. I'd also add, even if there have been high streaming numbers, does that really help the cause of releasing physical sets? That means people have (in high numbers) already listened to this for free. That is not the same thing as being willing to pay for it. There would need to be more than just free streams, but some (probably organized and significant) call for it from the buying public. The people who want physical sets probably want high quality sets: new essays in the liner notes; full details/credits; often vinyl as the format; quality packaging. My guess (but yes, just a guess) is that a simple, old-fashioned 1- or 2-CD set in a plastic case with a little booklet would annoy as many potential buyers as it would satisfy. So if you're doing runs of maybe just a few thousands units, what would that cost? If you have to charge $40* for an old-fashioned, 2-disc package of CDs, that's not a great deal, even for the sake of being a completist. *Totally made-up speculation. But the idea being you wouldn't charge the old-fashioned price of $20-25 for such a package because you're likely doing a smaller production run for an already-released-for-free, not particularly in-demand set.

I understand your dream lonelysummer. It’s my dream as well. Probably will never be realized - but who knows. I love those albums.

Maybe I'll just rip the digital only tracks to CDR, design my own cover, and do my own liner notes. Still hoping we get a 50th anniversary edition of The Beach Boys in Concert.

I’ve thought of doing that myself. Might be fun to get creative with it! 🤷♀️
