"86 How I Failed Ethics."
(As I said, this is in my back pocket for every number, Magnetic Fields's 50 Song Memoir, with one song per year from '66 to '15. I do like this one though!)

Yes indeed, Cap'n, counting songs can come in very handy. "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two One of these days I'll be back with you"

That one seems like cheating, as it's 8, 7 rather than 87. Taking the easy way out, I'd say

But getting out of that album of easy ones, here's an actual classic for 88.

See my remark at #77. We'll need that escape clause increasingly as we progress inexorably towards the end (Guru Josh cut a cool track called "Infinity" ).

Well at least not until after 100. Speaking of, once we hit triple digits, does it reset to 00, 01, etc., or do we need 100, 101, and so on?

The second case -- just keep counting! And here's my 89, in a telephone number to boot:

I have to admit to listening to Sam Hunt more than I should. I actually like his music quite a bit and have seen him live. He is entertaining and was on the Chiefs practice squad. “Breaking up was easy in the 90’s”.

Now this smacks to me more of taking the easy way out! What I do gets me into musical areas I'd never find myself in otherwise... A little low-fi harmony-sung folk, "Everyone's Summer of '95," by Iron & Wine.
