This requires a thread of its own, rather than subvert the "Musical Top Ten Lists" with single entries (* here*). To recap, I and another enthusiastic poster (Moomrick) at the long-defunct Capitol BB MB played this game at day's end for a while, taking turns to name songs with successive numbers in the title and/or lyrics until we were well into three figures. The joke about having nearly reached the end wore a little thin after a while and we called it a day. The last entry in our own "tens" thread was #28, before the Cap'n started swearing. I dedicate this topic to Moomrick (Kate) and hope she is doing well. This is "29 Years" by Tori Amos:

One of the most important figures in the history of popular music (and reportedly in soul-selling ) for #32, Robert Johnson's "32-20 Blues."

I love George Jones! 4-0-33
Also - for the love of God - will no one choose Ariana Grande for 34 or 35?

I'm calling 49, 57, and 64, but if you guys guess which songs I'd pick for those then you free them up for something else! Any takers?

* This* is a very handy site I used to refer to back in the old Capitol game-playing days. You just type in the number and lyrics dot com does the rest. Regrettably it's joined the ranks of websites wishing to invade one's privacy, so I won't be using it this time round. Anyway, it's there for those who are less fussy (less paranoid, if you prefer) than yours truly.
