Hello friends! We had to postpone last week but will have David Beard of ESQ and co-producer of the Feel Flows set Alan Boyd on this Tuesday at 8 EST. I am looking forward to speaking with Alan! I hope you will all join us!

Great show again, Matt! After listening to Alan, now I'm all excited. Just when we were showered with so much great music (with the Feel Flows release), we find out that there is still more to come, and not too far into the future. Thank you, Alan Boyd and Mark Linett, for all of your past work, and I look forward to the next project!

Thanks so much! Alan was great and gave a lot of awesome news and teasers. The best thing about Alan is that he is such a fan as well. It was really fascinating speaking with him. We appreciate your support!!

Great show, Matt. It's the first time in a while I was able to listen to a full show. I loved how enthusiastic Alan seemed about the mid-late 70s material. Looking forward, to the "Sail On, Sailor" set!

I'm a fan of M.I.U. and would welcome any kind of archival set of that material. I know I'm getting ahead of myself because we still have a few albums to revisit before we get to the M.I.U. sessions, but I'm wondering how they would handle the 1978 Christmas songs. I think there will eventually be another Christmas comp to replace the 1998 Ultimate Christmas which would incorporate the M.I.U. Christmas songs. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out but I guess we have a couple of years...

And great news about the CAPT/Holland set. I think Alan's comment that the success of this set is going a long way toward encouraging future releases. I know many of us gripe about buying a lot of the same stuff over and over again, and that it's easy to just listen for free digitally. But if somebody--actually a sufficient number of somebodies--doesn't buy the stuff, the well will dry up. They don't release this material as a charity, after all.
I wouldn't point fingers or say everyone has to buy everything, but for those very few and sometimes excruciatingly vocal people who think just getting everything free from others, well, quite frankly you're leeches.
