The 2020 Oscars In Memoriam with Billie Eilish performing "Yesterday":
That wasn't particularly good, but I was expecting worse.

I don't want this to read like a Brian Wilson post, but maybe it's time for Ozzy to stop the live performances and devote his time to other areas. I'm reminded of two other singers who retired from performing when they were diagnosed with Parkinson's - Linda Ronstadt and Neil Diamond. Like I posted a page back, there are new advances in Parkinson's treatment (surgery and medication), and I hope Ozzy has positive results from his course of treatment.

There are some parallels between Brian and Ozzy, especially when it comes to concerts and the "should he still be out there" debate. In a way, Ozzy is a little worse because, unlike Brian, Ozzy actually was a great frontman at one time. He's been a shadow of himself for quite some time now thanks to various health issues. And, unlike Brian, Ozzy can't pass off half of his lead vocals to other bandmembers.

And, yet another story about an old rock & roller still at it...

I'm hoping the panic and hysteria passes before the Ringo show I'm seeing in June.

I was at a concert on Sunday night where, despite being a sold out show (with a second date added the following night), the band ended up playing to a lot of empty seats. I was wondering if it had anything to do with tickets being "bot" up and not resold, or if it had anything to do with COVID-19.

SXSW was canceled and there’s talk Coachella could be postponed or canceled too.

I read a similar blurb, which stated they are still planning to restore and re-release Let It Be (which I think we've been hearing since 2002).

As a big fan of Let It Be, I'm really looking forward to this.
