Target Center--the Timberwolves' venue, but also used for a lot of major acts' concerts--went to 100% paperless ticketing a few years ago. I hate it.
One, it means you literally need a smartphone to attend anything. Two, it means you need to download an app you may or may not want. Three, it complicates your own personal life. (I heard things like, what if I want to pay the neighbor kid for mowing the lawn with Wolves tickets?)
I just feel like it's an unnecessary imposition.

This one came to me about 15 years ago, when I was reviewing music for a defunct site. I'd never heard of the indie band, Voxtrot, when their debut EP came my way. It sounds like the no-budget recording project it was, but I loved it then and I love it now. This particular song always was a nervous, energetic, lusty buzz of new and probably forbidden love. So that's my choice for the day, because sometimes that's exactly the intoxication of falling in love.
