One of my dad's favorites on the electric guitar back when he was a teen learning in the mid-to-late '50s.

Either the best bad guitarist or worst good guitarist out there, the coolest member in the history of KISS.

Man, I missed Duane's birthday. His "Peter Gunn" just misses being one of my life-changing 45s. It's unlike anything else he (or anybody) ever did. I hope you had a good day, sir.

I've got no choice but to be annoying on this one, sir! I do not believe you have seen Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, Eric Carr, Vinnie Vincent, Mark St. John, Bruce Kulick, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer!
(I assume you meant of the original four, and I'm sure you've seen Singer and Thayer because of reunion shows. I just had to be that guy...)

The only time I saw KISS was on their 2003 tour with Aerosmith. Gene and Paul were able to convince Peter to come along for that one (according to Peter's book, he got a pretty good payday for that tour), but Tommy Thayer was playing the Space Man. I think Eric Singer was drumming for Alice Cooper when I saw him in 2002.

Ace does get around occasionally, usually a few dozen shows a year at summer festivals or smaller venues. I've never seen him either, though I'd like to--more than seeing the current KISS, actually. In hindsight, I wish I'd gone to a (real) KISS reunion show back in the 90s/00s, but oh well.
