Matchbox might be my favorite Carl Perkins recording. And sitting in on piano is a young Jerry Lee Lewis. I still need to get a Larry Williams album. Love his songs as recorded by the Beatles.

For me, Carl ranks right up there with Chuck, Richard, Fats and Elvis. He was the white Chuck Berry - the combination of singer, guitar player and songwriter. I gotta thank the Beatles, Johnny Cash, and Rick Nelson for getting me interested in his music.
