Saw this on Facebook and thought it would be fun to do here. Each day there is a new category that you have to pick a song from. It can be solo material as well. Some categories will lead to more discussion than others.

Good call, TCK. How about "Lavender"?

I know you just picked out this video at random (didn't you?), but I've noticed it before on YouTube and actually listened to it because of the advertised "1991 Remix". I don't know...it doesn't sound very remixed to me. If anyone wants to take a couple of minutes to listen to it, and you hear something different from the 1964 released version, could you point it out to me?

Correct, I picked it at random, didn't listen, and have no idea as to the differences (if any) in the remix.
I would note that it's hardly unusual for something advertised as a remix to sound pretty damn similar (or identical, dare I say) to the original one, though. At least barring some serious A/B testing that is beyond the interests (or even capabilities) of normal people.

Does "Night Bloomin' Jasmine" count? It's only part of a song. Well, whether it counts or not, here it is:
For some reason the main melody sounds Zappa-like to me--shades of "Florentine Pogen" perhaps?

I have to like it? That's tough for this one for me. It's easy if you include various versions from reissue projects, e.g. "Surf's Up 1967," or if you grant me adverbs based on numbers, like "I'd Love Just Once to See You."
But if you mean an actual number from an original release, I'd probably have to second KDS's suggestion of "Disney Girls (1957)." I just don't much like the others that spring to mind.

I'm gonna go with one of my favorite BB instrumentals, "Shut Down, Part 2".
