My fear is that this will be available only on Disney +. Gonna hang onto my bootleg VHS until a legit DVD comes out. If it does. I’m sure it’ll be streaming only initially, followed by a physical release. Same as Get Back. That's what I'm thinking too.

It just occurred to me that we’ll get this before the new BBs doc.
I like the quick turnaround.
Also, that date looked familiar: it’s the release date of the album.

Ringo Starr. You know, I can't say I particularly like most of his solo output, but God bless him, he sure keeps up a fantastic pace for a man his age.
Saturday he'll release Crooked Boy, his fifth EP since spring 2021! The lead single, "February Sky," is below. And he just announced another run of All-Starr Band shows for this fall. (They're already touring this spring.)
The man works.

I will say the All Star Band show is worth checking out, that's assuming you've not seen it in the last decade. Other than sometimes alternating Gregg Rolie for Edgar Winter, it's been unchanged for a while, and for the most part, so is the setlist.

Yet another Beatles-adjacent project to be released this year: Revival69, a documentary based on the Toronto Rock 'n' Roll Revival in 1969 that marked John Lennon's first solo show after the Beatles. The doc uses footage shot by D.A. Pennebaker.
That concert included sets by the Doors, Alice Cooper, Lennon and the P.O. Band, as well as founding fathers like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bo Diddley, Gene Vincent, and Jerry Lee Lewis.
The film will be released on June 28.

This will give Alice Cooper another chance to tell the story of The Chicken Incident. Which I've probably seen him tell in at least three prior documentaries.
