Wow, that's great! How'd you do it? Exercising five nights a week and watching calories. That takes a lot of discipline. Good job!

Exercising five nights a week and watching calories. That takes a lot of discipline. Good job! Thanks. My usual pattern was to put on weight at the end of the calendar year, then eat clean for about a month or two, while working out maybe 3 times a week, all before falling back into old habits. Different plan this year, as its more of a lifestyle change than temporary fix. I also used to drink Fri, Sat, and Sun nights, an additional nights if it was a long weekend or vacation. But, now, I'm sticking to two nights a week.

It was an enjoyable holiday weekend, although we had storm weather each night and morning. Memorial Day itself was the worst of the days, with the sun barely peeking out a time or two and with afternoon storms as well as the morning and overnight ones.
While we had strong winds everywhere, some in western, central, and northern Minnesota had it pretty bad: straight-line winds measured up to 90 mph and at least one tornado caused a lot of property damage in some areas, tearing off roofs and knocking down some structures.

The weather here in eastern/central Pennsylvania couldn't have been much better for the Memorial Day weekend. Each day was sunny, little wind, and no rain. The temps yesterday almost hit 90 degrees but I'm not complaining. The more summer the better.
I did get my yard work in yesterday, trimming some shrubs. But I'm out of shape. The older I get the more breaks I have to take! But it was nice to get some summer sun, sweat a lot, work off a couple pounds - and the yard looks better, too.

I just got back from a morning walk and there are a lot of small branches down from the winds, and about a block away, one tree (maybe 10" diameter at the trunk) was blown over. It missed somebody's van by inches!

That's pretty much the same weather we had in the Baltimore area. So, between grilling, going yardwork, and relaxing, I was able to get outside plenty this past weekend.
