I’m a Sixers fan tonight! And how'd that go for you? I didn't watch the game but looking at the box, Philly wasn't playing like a team that wanted to win. Joel Embiid with 6 and 2 while Adebayo gets 18, 12 and 8? Has he no pride?

I watched my Knicks go on a 21-2 run to comeback from 16 down to win. Unfortunately, the Hawks and Heat won. I really want that 5th seed! When i first checked the Sixers score they were down 20 and I was dismayed to find out they weren’t even sitting anyone. Come on, man!

It's games like that where I'd rather see stars rest. If you aren't going to try, don't play.
But more than that, I think you ought to be playing AND trying. Even if it's limited minutes, as it was last night for the 76ers starters, you expect more of stars. If he Embiid REALLY wanted to stick it to Adebayo--which he should have wanted to do, to prove who's the best in the East--he could at least have had, say, 15 and 8 in limited minutes. You know, be productive while on the court.
The knock on Embiid for years has been he doesn't consistently take it seriously. That continues to seem true to me. He's a great player ... sometimes.

HUGE game this afternoon. If Knicks win - 4th seed. If they lose - 6th seed. Celtics are locked in to the 7th seed, so (not gonna lie) I hope they rest guys.
The Warriors-Grizzlies game is a big one, too. Winner is the 8th seed, loser the 9th. I’d LOVE to see a Laker-Warrior play-in! (More specifically, I’d love to see Steph beat LeBron and AD, forcing them to beat the winner of 9 and 10 just to make the playoffs.)

I'm really looking forward to that first game, especially. Two good-but-not-great teams going at it, very meaningful for New York.
If I were Boston, I don't think I'd want to rest guys primarily because the Celts have been playing like garbage lately: I think they really need to figure out how they are going to proceed into the playoffs, especially since they're going to be doing it without Jaylen Brown. But knowing the modern league, I wouldn't be surprised if we see no Tatum and no Kemba. That said, national TV game, so they'll be pressured to play guys at least limited minutes.
Warriors v Grizzlies could be fun, too. I'm really hoping Steph goes off for 50. I don't care who wins, but I want Steph to get 50.

One of the greats. (I'd vote for Kevin Harlan to replace him as the #1 broadcaster, by the way.)
I had similar thoughts about Hubie Brown, whom I saw last weekend doing a game, though still remotely. Hubie is 87 years old! I love Hubie because he has consistently been one of the very few TV announcers, either broadcaster or analysts, who actually focuses almost exclusively on what is happening on the court in terms of Xs and Os. Real basketball. Not gossipy storylines, not corny, faux-inspirational things about players' legends. Basketball.

I would love to see that! The Knicks are intriguing and it would be interesting to see Thib's defense push the Sixers...literally.

Nice feature on the Thibs-Julius Randle relationship from espn.com.
