I wonder if that trend with the 3s is occurring throughout the entire league. While watching the Sixers lose to Dallas last night - and shoot 9 for 37 from 3 land - I am continuing to...realize?...how much the NBA game has changed.

Sorry to thread jump, but I have also attended an NBA playoff game. Nets vs Heat. April 28, 2005. This was Shaq's first season with the Heat, before they retooled their roster (bringing in A. Walker, J. Williams, J. Posey, G. Payton, etc). They eventually lost in 7 to the Pistons in the Conference Finals (if memory serves - both Shaq and Wade were playing through injuries). Despite being a Knicks fan, I was pulling for the Heat because I was a fan of their core players. Anyway, this was a GREAT experience. The Heat won 108-105 in double OT. This was the game that Vince Carter hit the baseline jumper at the buzzer (of the first OT). I just rewatched it and, man, it's very reminiscent of Kawhi's shot against PHI (sorry, SJS). Check out the shot and the box score, if you'd like. www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200504280NJN.html

I'm honestly not surprised. He shocked me with his talent in MN and was improving when Tom Thibodeau broke, then traded him. It has always been efficiency on offense and any semblance of defense holding him back. But this and last year, when healthy, he's been much better. And he's shooting more and better 3s this season.
As angry as I was when we drafted him, I admit I was wrong. (I think I admitted it by his second season. He has the cajones Wiggins never had and still doesn't have.)

There is a rumor that Zion Williamson will be returning on Thursday night against the Jazz. Maybe rushing things a little?

I don’t know, he has said he wanted to return weeks ago. I can’t imagine they’d rush him, especially as well as they’ve played without him the past ten games or so.

I assume you and SJS have heard his latest team-killing, nonsensical comments by now. How should i put this...he’s got an “interesting” mind.

Yeah, Kyrie said last night that the Nets have "glaring needs". Stephen A. Smith flipped out about the comment on First take this morning.
The Nets played the Sixers last night, and the Sixers basically won the game by shutting down Kyrie, especially during crunch time in the 4th quarter.

You’re generous in saying “mind”!
Wolves seem to have made one of their inevitable trades, dealing expiring Jeff Teague and Traveon Graham to ATL for expiring wing Allen Crabbe. Hopefully that helps with our abysmal 3-pt shooting.
However now we’re even more pathetic at PG (Shabazz Napier and...nobody). So hopefully there’s another move coming shortly.

Actually it's pretty salary-neutral, though I believe we come out a little ahead (i.e., lower salary now) in the deal. Both Teague and Crabbe are in the last year of a just-under $20m deal.
Teague has been an obvious candidate to be shipped out for a while, between having been a Thibs signing, not fitting into Saunders's offense, and being on the wrong side of 30 with a big salary that's expiring. He has been a good citizen for sure, but when your starting PG and coach jointly agree that he'd be better suited to come off the bench despite no other PG approaching starting caliber on the roster, you can sense something is up...
However, I think I (and everyone) assumed he'd be shipped out in a deal that brought back another point guard, since, as I mentioned, we don't have one!
It does give us a rental of an outside shooter in Crabbe. And at 27, if he plays OK and the teams can agree on a dollar figure, it's entirely possible we could retain him (for a much lower number).
But I'd imagine we are not done dealing, and bring in another point guard soon. At least we better... (And the rumor mill has us chasing D'Angelo Russell again, as well as more realistic possibilities like Indiana's Aaron Holiday.)

Ex-St. Joseph's and NBA player, Delonte West, has apparently fallen on hard times. This is a sad video:
