Artist: Neil Young (not that know a quarter of his work but what I've heard I've liked) Album: The Yes Album (the transition from "The Clap" to "Starship Trooper" is a thing of wonder) Song: "Yes It Is" ~ The Beatles (one sockit missed -- or doesn't like) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yes_It_Is

I'm especially glad you mentioned "You're Going To Lose That Girl"! That was the first song that particularly jumped out me--although I liked 'em all--the first time I watched the movie HELP! on TV as a kid. Once I borrowed the soundtrack album from the local library, I got hooked on "The Night Before".

Song: "Yes It Is" ~ The Beatles (one sockit missed -- or doesn't like) Well, it's not among my favorites, but it's a pleasant enough song. I merely forgot it.

Ze end is here (said in a bad Eastern European accent to try to fit in that Z...).
Artist/Band: Frank Zappa
Song: "Zig Zag Wanderer," dare I say almost a normal pop-rock song from the great Captain Beefheart?
Album: I don't think there's one I really like, despite several bands I like having Z albums. I'll go with Zooma, the late 90s instrumental album by John Paul Jones.
Thanks for indulging the alphabet exercise, everybody! Hope you enjoyed our near-month of letter-lists.

Artist: The Zombies - I really like their string of singles in the 1960's. Great AM radio stuff.
Song: "Zing! Went The Strings Of My Heart" - Recorded by many including Judy Garland, but my favorite version if by Frank Sinatra.
Album: The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars by David Bowie - OK, it doesn't START with Z, but I couldn't come up with any other ones and I didn't want to be shut out; it would've been the first time in the entire alphabet, and at the the very end at that.
Hey, can we go around again?

Hey, can we go around again? I'm going to try to think of some other kind of game we can do on a regular basis, just to keep things active. Of course if anyone else has something, please, by all means jump on it!

ZZZ, this was really a challenge, but I got it figured out. I warn, this may be a little weird. Artist: Zebra--Early 80s heavy metal, best known for "Who's Behind the Door". Album: Zenyatta Mondatta--The Police. Actually one of my least fav Police albums, but this is the one that put them in the mainstream with radio hits like..."Da Doo Doo Doo" and "Don't Stand So Close to Me" Song: "The Zoo"--Scorpions. I'm not as much of a Scorps fan as I was in my younger days, but this song has always been my favorite of theirs. Well, whaddaya know? All early 80s stuff, my high school years!
