How about this one?
It's such a big, dumb anthem, you'd almost expect it to have been a KISS song, maybe complete with a little Paul Stanley sermon at the end. Oh, wait...

That Paul spoken word bit at the end always cracks me up. I'd still live for them to release the Bill and Ted version with the Steve Vai intro.

Dumb, but funny. And the song is dumb, but cool. (Wholly uncool...but cool.)

I'll probably rejoin the solo Beatles album topic when Band on the Run looms into view. Until then, this is my kind of thread!
Here are The Eternals, who seem to be having trouble choosing between rock'n'roll and the cha cha:

Here's one I don't remember ever not knowing. I associate it with my late cousin, who despite being five years or so older than me was always very generous with another younger cousin, a brother, and me. We'd all congregate in the basement or some side room while the adults did whatever boring nonsense adults did and listen to music of the day ... which in my earliest memories included this.
How many songs could AC/DC add to this thread? Rock and roll was definitely a topic they returned to often!

Between AC/DC and KISS, you could do a pretty full set of "Rock and Roll Songs."
For all his lyrics on magic, fantasy, wizards, and dragons, Ronnie James Dio had quite a few.
Here's the title track of Rainbow's third album
Off Dio's 2002 album, his tribute to the 9/11 victims
And, finally, off Dio's swansong, from his final Sabbath....er..um..Heaven and Hell album

Do "Rock And Roll All Nite" and "Let Me Go, Rock And Roll" by KISS qualify?

Do "Rock And Roll All Nite" and "Let Me Go, Rock And Roll" by KISS qualify? I'd say absolutely.

"Do You Remember Rock And Roll Radio" from 1980's End Of The Century, produced by Phil Spector. I wonder if they lifted the "Do you remember" part from The Beach Boys?

Don't think we've had this one yet. Louis Jordan's "Rock'n'Roll Call" dates from 1956:

This one is more for completeness' sake than anything else. Recorded in 1922, its "My Man Rocks Me (with One Steady Roll)" by Trixie Smith:
