More of an observation. But, I just kinda find it funny how much he pops up. There was a time when it seemed that way with Springsteen. I was kind of annoyed back in 1988 when the Beatles, Beach Boys, Supremes and Bob Dylan were inducted; yet all the stories that came out had huge photos of Jagger and Springsteen...I'm like "it's not their turn yet!" I never would have paired up Dave Grohl and Jimmy Buffett...but I guess ol' Dave likes everybody. That seems to be true, and even more, everybody likes ol' Dave! By all accounts, he's truly a nice guy, and he truly loves--LOVES--music broadly. So even though I despised Nirvana and never bothered at all with Foo Fighters, I've got to give him credit. The guy is a good musician and he seems to treat people kindly. That goes a long way.

It almost makes me wish I liked his catalog more. I hate Nirvana, and outside of a few songs, don't care much for Foo Fighters.
