It's been baffling me for nearly ten years! Like its uploader, I have no idea. How about you? These, to the best of my knowledge, are the lyrics. The recording is incomplete: Can I show you how much I love you So I don't have to live without you Would it be all right to say * forever When you've already said never Does it mean I'm lost without you Does it mean I'll never have you I'm lost without you Does it mean I'll never have you CHORUS [unintelligible -- if only!] Can I tell you how much I need you 'Cause I've ruined everything again How can you tell me to move on with my life When all I want is another try Does it mean I'm lost without you Does it mean I'll never have you * I originally thought this was "stay"… At 1:35, the singer sings what must be the title twice. (The faint word heard on the one may be part of it.) All I could ever find of the lyrics were these two lines from the second (?) verse: "How can you tell me to move on with my life When all I want is another try" They were in just one place, at an iffy site best left alone. The date given for the quote is September 13, 2004 -- and that's all there is to go on. The uploader, deathclaw555, is from Slovakia. Which is why I've always tended to think that it comes from that part of the world. The singer's accent and enunciation of the English lyrics (slightly stilted English but in a nice way) confirm my suspicions. Perhaps I should add that I think it's super!

Here's another mystery song -- or rather a mystery version of a famous song, John Farnham's "You're The Voice". This one either you know or you don't -- I've googled every possible permutation to no avail. Once again, I think it's super!

It's been baffling me for nearly ten years! Like its uploader, I have no idea. How about you? jk, I listened to this song a couple of times, trying to identify the artist. They/she sounded familiar, but really, I'm not good with post-1990 artists. Then I checked a few lyrics websites and plugged them in. I thought I would get a match but no luck. I thought the lyrics were the key, and I'm still surprised nothing showed up.

As I said, two lines ("How can you tell me to move on with my life / When all I want is another try") showed up on a dodgy site in a post made in September 2004 but even that's no longer a hit on google. I recall its poster was down as being female, Canadian and a fan of Japanese pop, which doesn't help in the slightest! Shazam and sites like that are technically beyond me, so this Music Banter thread looks like the best bet right now...
