I said (almost verbatim), “fuck, now history will pretend he was some kind of legend. He would’ve just faded away.” I said the same thing then. A quarter century later, it holds true.

Word via Eddie Trunk is that not only is AC/DC recording (or having recorded) a new album, but plans to tour with Brian Johnson. The band themselves have only acknowledged that they have recorded "something for a project" but apparently its an open secret.

I'm not a big AC/DC fan, but didn't they also lose a member or two? Do they now fall into "that category"?

I'm not a big AC/DC fan, but didn't they also lose a member or two? Do they now fall into "that category"? Unfortunately, Malcolm Young recently passed away. He was diagnosed with dementia and replaced by his nephew Stevie Young prior to the release of their 2014 album Rock or Bust, which is the last album they released. Phil Rudd, their long time drummer has some run ins with the law around that time and was replaced by Chris Slade, who drummed with them in the early 1990s. But, I've heard that Rudd could be brought back into the fold. If Rudd and Johnson return, you have 4/5 of the Back in Black lineup, so if that's the case, I wouldn't put them in "that category."

That would be bizarre if it weren't obviously a retraction based on threat of litigation. Because otherwise it's just nonsense.

Bob Dylan gets a little feisty. Do you agree or disagree with him?

Bob Dylan gets a little feisty. Do you agree or disagree with him? Get over it, Bob. Finish the song. What about all the people who weren't taking photos? Besides, what's so wrong with taking a few photos to document the occasion?

I get his point, but it's still a dick move.
Artists do have a right to create the terms of their shows. And especially with people filming audio and video of every show? I get why that could drive an artist crazy.
But audiences are going to do what they are going to do, too. Especially if you're not actually confiscating phones on the way in, a la Jack White. Being a scold about it doesn't come across well.

Very interesting...Songs inspired by Southern California pop records from the late 60's/early 70's. I hope they sound like "Girls In Their Summer Clothes". So, this isn't an E- Street Band album? And orchestral arrangements? You have to think one or a couple songs will be Brian Wilson-influenced. Interesting album cover, too. First single, "Hello Sunshine" comes out...tonight!

This one should be interesting. Maybe not the best period of Dylan's career musically, but it was...different.
