My guess is that early to mid next year we get something recorded, but probably a new song or two--maybe even another "Do it Again" style self-cover. ("We're Together Again"...lol) Just some little goodie to paste onto another little greatest hits album, or even onto an album version of the tribute concerts.

One thing this show shows me is, maybe I just don't like Christian's voice as much as I used to. He sounds similar here, and not in a way I enjoy. There is just something lethargic about him, or at least that's how I'm hearing it.
Again I'm agreeing with you about the lethargic aspect. I'm wondering if this is intentional on Christian's part. I wonder if he's trying too much to channel the nice Carl, the gentle Carl, the laid back Carl...too much. Or, maybe he's just aging and mellowing out. Either way, he could use a pep talk from Daddy.

Yeah, I think that's more likely than an actual brand new live album. Although, I think it would be a shame if the studio career of The Beach Boys is capped by a late era self cover. I'd rather them dust off some previously unreleased song and re-do that. It least it would be "new" even if there's a chance it's something we're all already familiar with. Or, maybe do a Free as a Bird / Real Love type of thing with a Carl lead.

Scott Totten has posted on Facebook lately about adding new songs to the setlist.
I pulled up a Kentucky show from Saturday night on Setlist.Fm, and see that Add Some Music and Feel Flows have both been added.

I was able to go to the concert last night after all and it was a great show per usual. Much better sound than what was heard on CNN. It's About Time was added to the setlist in addition to Feel Flows and Add Some Music. Scott really rocked the guitar on Feel Flows. Mike mentioned Jack Rieley wrote the lyrics and made a joke that they're creating a website for fans to figure out what the lyrics mean. I managed to get a video of It's About Time:

Oh wow, It's About Time!! I've never seen any live version of the band do that in person.
I'm sure Mike will get a lot of flack for that, but that's pretty funny.

According to setlist.fm, All I Wanna Do has been added to the setlist. I wonder if that was one of the songs I saw scratched out at the show I attended.

That happened to a show I attended in Baltimore in February 2016. A poster over on SSMB said he was able to snag a copy of the setlist as the roadies were breaking down, and All I Wanna Do was there, but scratched out.

There are now people complaining that Mike shouldn't play deep cuts, because it's not what people expect and they'll be wondering where the hits are (as if they're not being played ). You just can't win with some people.

You just can't win with some people. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I think some fans - not just BB fans, but movie, TV, music, sports, etc - just enjoy finding things to complain about. Unfortunately, it's those vocal fans who often take to the internet, which is why I've left several Facebook Groups I used to be in, devoted to the Baltimore Orioles, heavy metal, etc.

I guess I am in a few Beach Boys groups, but two are boomer groups (sorry to those of you here lol) and one that has basically become SS for gen Z-ers under the guise of "shitposting". It's really maddening that people can't just be reasonable.

It's really maddening that people can't just be reasonable. I think I told this story here before. But, back in 2016, before baseball season started, I found a FB Group called Orioles Magic. When the season started, my feed got flooded with posts from the group - bitch, bitch, bitch, bitching about everything. I left seven games into the season. The sad part, the Orioles were 7-0 during that time. On the whole hits / deep cuts thing, I think Iron Maiden has a great touring formula. When they release new music, they'll do a tour with a set that's very heavy on newer material. Then, the next tour will be a nostalgia tour. And, since Maiden really don't have much in way of true hits like the BB do, they can get a little more creative with their setlists.

That's not a bad idea, but Mike and Bruce have such a long setlist that I don't think it's a big deal for casual fans when a few deep cuts are added. It's About Time and certainly Feel Flows each got a nice reception from the crowd. If anything, I'd rather them drop some of the covers/Mike solo songs. Speaking of, This Too Shall Pass sounded a lot better in concert and the crowd enjoyed it, too, although it was pretty high energy at that point being the encore.

Yeah, I saw they're up to about 42 songs on their set right now, and their songs, unlike Maiden, are so short that adding a couple non hits shouldn't be the end of the world. I've never really been a fan of solo songs being played at "band" concerts, so I'd be in favor of dropping some of the Mike songs too. Pisces Brother especially.
