Yes! Yes! That's it! Thank you so much, carllove. I don't know why I couldn't find it. But yeah, isn't that a great cover? Quite a different spin, and like I stated earlier, quite catchy.

Yes! Yes! That's it! Thank you so much, carllove . I don't know why I couldn't find it. But yeah, isn't that a great cover? Quite a different spin, and like I stated earlier, quite catchy. It wasn’t easy to find, but I am a master of internet searches, according to my husband! It is a great cover. I’ve never heard that song covered like that. Usually, they all keep the slower tempo. Glad I could help!

Very talented young singer. I really like those harmonies at 1:55 and 2:28. (Along with the rest of the performance.)

Found a couple of stupendous covers at EH today: Molly Miller's gorgeous instrumental version of "Surfer Girl"... ...and The Rodney Graham Band's 2003 take on "Belles Of Paris": Many thanks to edhemingway and lonesurf respectively.

I stumbled upon a cover of All Summer Long by Ron Dante (from The Archies) with Bruce doing some (buried) vocals as well. According to the commentary, the Beach Boys backing band performed on it as well.

I always felt "Sugar Sugar" stood head and shoulders above all the other bubblegum stuff...

I didn't know this was out there: a 1977 (note: the year is listed incorrectly in the video description as 1970) mostly instrumental version of "Sail On Sailor" from legendary guitarist Steve Hunter (Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, David Lee Roth, and many others).
Jim Gordon drums, former Reed bandmate Prakash John is on bass, and famed producer Bob Ezrin (who also co-produced this album) is on keyboards.

How about this skittish version of "I'm Waiting For The Day" by Peanut, better known as Katie Kissoon, who with brother Mac enjoyed a string of hits in mainland Europe? With thanks to sneakypete77 at EH: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_and_Katie_Kissoon

Here's Cliff Richard's respectful live take on Dennis's "End Of The Show", recorded mere months after POB was released. (The double album also includes "Do You Wanna Dance", but that's because it was a Cliff/Shads B-side in 1962.) With thanks to barnsy at EH for the heads up: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thank_You_Very_Much_(album)

"End Of The Show" is one of my favorite Pacific Ocean Blue songs, though I like them all. I'll bet Dennis would be proud of Cliff's interpretation.

I've always been a massive fan of Jimmy Nail's "Ain't No Doubt". Here he is covering "Still I Dream Of It". His voice is ideally suited to this song -- it's clear he's covering Brian's 1976 demo, as he starts the bridge with that version's "A little while ago..." rather than the GV30 version's "When I was younger..." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Nail

Thanks. Not sure what I think of his voice, though the range of the song does suit it. I love that song, though. It sounds like an absolute standard ... except for those very nontraditional lyrics.

Ha, yes. Any song whose subjects are food, falling in love, Jesus and hypnotism has got a lot going for it. It seems Brian was going to offer it to Stevie Wonder or Elton John if The Voice wasn't interested. At the end of the day he recorded it himself. Jimmy is an actor first and foremost, but I think he has a great singing voice.
