Another question about conversations...I wonder if Brian and Dennis ever sat down and discussed Dr. Landy and his treatment. I'm not sure that Landy would've allowed Brian and Dennis in the same room one-on-one, at least not monitored.

What were the odds of members of possibly my three favorite bands meeting at one time and posing for a photograph?

Honestly? Probably not that bad! Figure a relatively defined era, the celebrity of their groups, the reality of celeb events...

Another rare photo of Brian and Dennis together.
Brian: Can you believe Al didn't show up. Lynda called and said he was sick.
Dennis: How sick can he be? It's for the new album cover! I'd have crawled here even if I was puking. Brian: Hehe...

A rare photo of Brian and Eugene Landy from their first tenure together. This photo was for sale (now out of stock) at Rockaway Records. Based on the part in Brian's hair, the negative appears to be reversed. However, the photo is also dated 2/13/77 which is surprising. I thought Landy was gone by the end of 1976.

That reminds me of moms who buy their babies things with "I love my mommy" or "world's best mommy" or whatever. That button tells us what GENE thought, not necessarily what Brian thought.

Brian, Al, and Mavis Staples on their recent Cayamo cruise. Cool Bob Dylan-Tom Petty tour T-shirt on Mavis. Sail away!

I came across this photo on a Dennis Wilson Facebook page. It's Dennis' son, Michael, with Dennis' old friend, Ed Roach. Did you ever wonder what Dennis might've looked like as he got older, perhaps around 50 years old? Maybe similar to Michael?

Here's the rest of the photo, the other half of The Beach Boys, the bottom half, their legs. And, yes, the negative is reversed.

Brian and Eden Ahbez at Western in 1967 during the SMiLE sessions. Eden Ahbez wrote "Nature Boy" which was a big hit for Nat King Cole and covered by many artists. While Ahbez's lifestyle fit perfectly into the hippie culture of the Summer Of Love - and in some ways SMiLE - I have to wonder who and what brought him to Western Studios in 1967, and how he ended up sitting next to Brian Wilson. I'm assuming they didn't collaborate or we would've read about it.

Brian doing some yard work in the sum-sum-summertime. Gardner walked out and the sprinkler went on. Get yourself in that cool, cool water. What a beautiful day this is...
