Seeing Cincinnati Kid's comment about best/worst that he usually skips "Night Time" or whatever got me thinking: I don't usually skip individual songs on these albums ... because I don't usually listen to these albums anymore.
Whether Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, or otherwise related, I very rarely listen to the albums as albums. When I first bought them, I did. If more come out, I'm sure I'll listen to those new ones as-is. But as time goes on, I really don't listen to albums often anymore, unless maybe in the car (since my car still has a CD player I make use of).
Most often, I either specifically pick songs I want to hear, hear things on random as they pop up, or hear things as parts of playlists I put together for some reason--probably in that order. And it's most often on iTunes, next often on YouTube (even if I have the album in physical or iTunes copies), and lastly the physical products.
What about you?

1. In the morning while shaving, brushing my teeth, showering, getting dressed for work...I will put a BB 2fer in my old boombox and let it play.
2. In my car...comps only! All homemade burned CD's. You name the concept and I probably have a CD for it.
3. At home sitting at the computer...there is a chance for an original album being played at this time, but I usually end up listening to a work/comp in progress. I'm experimenting - adding songs, subtracting songs, sequencing, etc.

I don't listen to my CD's as often as I used to, since many are still in boxes after the move, but my BB collection is one of the few catalogs I have easy access to. Occasionally, I'll pull out Pet Sounds, Holland, or TWGMTR to listen. But, lately, a lot of my BB listening is through Spotify. I made a BB playlist of around 130 songs that I go to. They're also featured on my Summer Playlist.
I have burned copies of Sounds of Summer, Warmth of the Sun, and the Sunflower / Surf's Up 2-fer in my car. I also have the incorrect MiC Disc 3 and a 3rd volume of Sounds of Summer / Warmth of the Sun that I burned.

In my car I use Spotify playlists. Mainly compilations I made myself, and some entire albums (I love Friends). At home I have (so far) nice AR copies of Today! and Pet Sounds as well as the Smile Sessions, and I like to lie between the speakers and do nothing except close my eyes listen to them on my sound system - quite a treat :-)
