One thing is puzzling me, though I guess they don't need a reason: it's supposed to be a 68 showcase, but they skipped 20/20 and even Sunflower and go straight to Surf's Up?

I’m betting it’s as simple as the number of songs they wrote/sang, liked, and thought they could pull off, while adding some new songs to the set.

Yes, I think you're right. Plus I have a hunch Brian wants to do Long Promised Road and showcasing Surf's Up is a good premise for that.

Definitely. LPR is easily the best bet to be performed after the ones they’ve done already (title song, FF, and Til I Die).

Well, my brother (who is a massive Zombies fan and a pretty big BB fan) got us VIP tickets to the Beacon show, so I guess I'm going now! :-)
