Best reaction channel TwinsthenewTrend do EW&F's "Boogie Wonderland", highly entertaining AND cute reaction (I even liked the song thanks to it):
Equally entertaining, energetic, enthusiastic reaction by the twins to Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step" (now this I liked JOLLY much, really fun song, like the voice, dancing, rap even. Somebody commented that Bobby used to be Whitney Houston's husband. He looks good, she's got good taste. Definitely better than dullface Kevin Costner (sp?)):

This is one of my go-to videos these days. It's Russian synthpop band Alyans miming to "Give Fire!" in a 1988 promo:

Please note the video's title: "Vocalist Disagrees With Bernstein's Tempo". Vocalist?? Shame on you, uploader Chris Nelson. This is the mezzo-soprano Christa Ludwig, one of the great singers of the 20th century! Lenny is being his usual egotistical self. Okay, so they were great friends and mutual admirers -- his behaviour on this occasion would be unpardonable in any circumstances. I like the comment (which I can't find right now) about Bernstein and Ms Ludwig (who died last year aged 93) being joined by the composer as they continue their discussion in heaven: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christa_Ludwig

A YouTube video with an unnecessarily inflammatory or hyperbolic title? Well, I never...

This is for a long-term friend of ours who died yesterday after a short illness. I fondly recall watching The Blues Brothers film at his house some years back. Slaap zacht, Wil.

A pairing of two great talents - Sammy Davis, Jr. and Anthony Newley. This duet takes you back to a different time. David Bowie's singing style was influenced by Anthony Newley.

Favorite YouTube Videos is a stretch here, but Adam Marsland just shared this 2008 performance of "Porpoise Song," performed when he was opening for Peter Tork, no less. Very cool. (I didn't know where else it fit, thread-wise.)

A couple of Flo & Eddie videos with the duo doing the interviewing. On the KISS interview in 1981, Howard Kaylan is only 34 years old!
The best Flo and Eddie video is the one where they talk about the history of the Turtles and their managers.

I like Gary Puckett & The Union Gap. Gary had a great voice and their songs were very catchy. Their run was short-lived, lasting only about two years (1967-69), but they had five hits that went Top Ten:
- Woman, Woman - Young Girl - Lady Willpower - Over You - This Girl Is A Woman Now
I saw Gary Puckett with The Happy Together Tour two times the last couple of years and he performed those five songs. Gary's voice is still strong and the audience loved hearing him perform those timeless AM Radio classics. However, a few weeks ago on an oldies station, I heard another Gary Puckett & The Union Gap song, "Don't Give In To Him", which only went to #15 in March 1969. I like "Don't Give In To Him" as much as any of the hits, and guess who wrote it? Gary Usher!

The Captain (Beefheart, that is) on Letterman in 1982 in support of his Ice Cream For Crow. He's ... Beefheart. In some ways, reminds me of Tom Waits doing press: he's just going to say things, let's not pretend reality is involved.
