An old MTV favorite, a great song, and a member of Fleetwood Mac about 40 years later:

Reactions To The Classics - linkI'm hooked on this youtube channel. It's a father and son reviewing classic albums. They've just completed the Beatles UK discography. They've also mentioned that Pet Sounds is coming up and even some solo Beatles albums. They take great care in these videos. They research the album, listen to it numerous times, review it track by track, and then name their favorites and rate the album. They also clarify which songs they were previously familiar with and which they were hearing for the first time. I really get a kick out of people discovering my favorite groups for the first time. Especially, because they are largely unaware of the critic and fan consensus of most songs.

I remember you enthusing about JJ on two previous websites! Right now, my favourite YouTube video is "Na Zare" (At dawn) by the Russian '80s band Alyans. The connection? We took a trip to St Petersburg not so long ago. One commenter aptly describes the band members as looking as though each came from a different era and a different genre! The audience is fascinating in its own right. I could watch this all day.

Here's another great favourite of mine. I realize the Letterman performance of Future Islands' "Seasons (Waiting On You)" is iconic, but the version they did on Jools Holland's UK show is the one for me:

These are The Birthday Party performing "Junkyard" live on a German music programme in 1982. I don't watch it that often but when I do, it's... fun.

This is one I used to watch all the time back in 2018. The genre is utterly foreign to me--in fact it may even get me banned. Fergie's "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" features in the fantastic party scene in the Leo-fuelled version of The Great Gatsby (see below):

A couple of Flo & Eddie videos with the duo doing the interviewing. On the KISS interview in 1981, Howard Kaylan is only 34 years old!

Salvador Dalí talks about Pablo Picasso. His description of their "collaboration" is a hoot!
