There's two things I'm glad you included in your criteria - favorite (not best) and solo albums. That makes it more fun and interesting...and harder.
1. Pet Sounds 2. SMiLE (any way I can configure it - the SMiLE Sessions CD 1, taking the SMiLE Sessions tracks and sequencing/mixing them the way I want, or just allowing me to simply use the SMiLE Sessions in the ranking. But no BWPS!) 3. The Beach Boys Love You 4. Pacific Ocean Blue 5 The Beach Boys Today!
6. All Summer Long 7. 15 Big Ones 8. Summer Days (And Summer Nights) 9. Sunflower 10. No Pier Pressure

8. Summer Days (And Summer Nights)
This album, Little Deuce Coupe, and Holland were coming up next on my list...probably. (Not necessarily in that order.) I doubt you could have foreseen getting that much out of a 21st century solo album. It's the only post-'77 album on your list. Pretty cool.

I doubt you could have foreseen getting that much out of a 21st century solo album. It's the only post-'77 album on your list. Pretty cool. Based on what I've read from fans and reviewers regarding Brian's solo albums, it appears that I view the albums backwards or opposite than the consensus. I'm not as fond of the more popular ones (BW 1988, BWPS, WIRWFC, That Lucky Old Sun, Gershwin) as I am of the less popular ones (Imagination, Disney, No Pier Pressure). No Pier Pressure has MOSTLY very good songs, excellent production and arrangements, and some of the best vocals of Brian's solo career. It's one of his only solo albums that moves me.

The love for Wild Honey has always been surprising to me. It's very short (23:58), the album ends weakly (How She Boogalooed It, Mama Says), the title song is overrated (terrible vocal by Carl), and the album has a shortage of all-time great songs (IMHO). When I make comps of greatest or best BB songs, I might choose "Darlin'" but that's about it from Wild Honey. It does have a few strong second-tier songs (Aren't You Glad, Here Comes the Night, Let The Wind Blow) which helps Wild Honey's ranking, but...

Pet Sounds Smiles (some platonic ideal of the material) Surfs Up Love You Friends Today Summer Days (and Summer Nights) That Lucky Old Sun All Summer Long Sunflower Wild Honey, Gershwin, No Pier Pressure, 20/20, and Holland would probably be the next five, not necessarily in that order.

hey now, I didn’t knock your inclusion of POB (though I almost fell asleep just reading its title)!

hey now, I didn’t knock your inclusion of POB (though I almost fell asleep just reading its title)! Actually, 7 out of 10 of our choices overlap. I don't know if that's good or bad. Now, if you just would've substituted No Pier Pressure for That Lucky Old Sun, it would've been 8 out of 10.
I've never been a fan of That Lucky Old Sun to the extent of most fans. It is usually at or near the top of favorite/best BW solo album lists. The ending trifecta of Midnight's Another Day, Going Home, and Southern California saved the album for me, but even that luster has faded over the ensuing years.

I still think it’s a really great album. I still don’t like the spoken word parts, but it’s Brian’s strongest collection of songs in a good while, and I think they did a great job putting it together.

That, along with lonelysummer's choice of Youngblood and Carl Wilson, is the most surprising album I've seen picked.
