Is this the best live version of "Good Vibrations"? How does it compare to the 1974 version released on Songs From Here & Back? I don't have that CD. SJS, I'd like to see your Ultimate Live playlist. Either here or a new thread for best/favorite live versions of songs. I can't believe you asked me THAT question, about the different live versions of "Good Vibrations". Because, yes, above I did say that I use the In Concert version of "Good Vibrations" on my Ultimate Beach Boys' Live comp. I was just trying to give some credit to the In Concert version in my "positives" about the album. But, in fact, I DO USE the Songs From Here & Back version, which is similar to the In Concert version. I think the Songs From Here & Back version is slightly better mastered, and I like the mix, both with the vocals and the instrumentation.
I'll be happy to post my Ultimate Live playlist shortly in the Compilations thread.

I thought Songs From Here & Back was available on Spotify. If it was, it's not anymore. Guess I should pick it up via eBay while it's still cheap.

Wata you thinking? Come on, I know you have an opinion! Actually, I don't have much opinion on this album. I'm not very keen on The Beach Boys' live material in general, and in this case, I find outtakes found on Made In California (Only with You, Wild Honey and Help Me, Rhonda for example) way better than what's on this album. Still it's a respectable document of respectable era of their live career - I would appreciate it more if they'd give the album brand-new remaster, making it sound like terrific live cuts on MiC.
